This is the area covered by The Somerset Ornithological Society. It's quite simple, being the current Somerset county boundary.
Please note that North Somerset and Bath & Northeast Somerset are covered by the Bristol Ornithological Club. The annual report of birds in this area is produced by the Avon Ornithological Group.
